My backstory
I’m Maddox, a director and photographer. I was born in Stockbridge, Georgia, in a musically gifted family, which inspired my artistic pursuits. Early memories included being in the studio with my father, cherishing moments with my family, and playing drums at church. Captivated by visual storytelling, I began pursuing photography in my early teens to capture beauty and emotions. My love for extreme sports led me to create travel videos. High school film classes fueled my passion, leading to awards and an apprenticeship with Mil Cannon at Jan Smith Studios, where I gained hands-on experience with renowned artists like Carrie Underwood. Later, I toured as a videographer and photographer for Grammy-winning artist Zach Williams, capturing moments on the road.
Now based in Nashville, I work with various artists and industry labels, driven by my faith in Jesus and aiming to reflect His light in my work.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
